SECEDIT bond definitions

ARB_SECEDIT/Properties/Display options/<DEFINE button>

 

DESCRIPTION  

Allows to define how different bonds are displayed in ARB_SECEDIT.

Currently the following symbols will be drawn as shapes: .o~#=+- and the resize and rotate with the base characters they are attached to.

All other symbols will be shown as "text" string, i.e. will neighter scale nor rotate.

Which base pairs translate into which symbol is defined in EDIT4 (see ´Define Helix Symbols´).

Here you may define a translation from symbols defined in EDIT4, to shape-symbols used in SECEDIT.

To reproduce the default bond display behavior as used up to arb 7.0, you may click the config manager icon in ´SECEDIT display options´ and restore the predefined config named '*bonds_arb7'.
When both fields are empty, ARB_SECEDIT uses the same symbols as shown below the sequence in EDIT4.
